ELLIATT Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

Toi et Moi ‘La Première fois’ Summer 2011 Collection

Celebrate the ‘first’ moments in life again with the Toi et Moi Summer 2011 collection. Flirty dresses, fun tops and cute rompers are all elements of the fabulous summer collection appropriately named ‘La Première fois’ (the first time). Inspired by a montage of photos spanning 3 decades of her life, designer Gill Lawrence has created a collection based on the clothes that have defined those ‘first’ moments.

She used the colours and patterns associated with those memories surrounding her first tears, first day of school, first love to inspire a wide range of items. The range is bright and colourful with playful prints and sure to spark new ‘firsts’ for wearers.

Of course Gill has styled these designs with her trademark Parisian chic twist, but has kept the collection youthful and fresh. Always the trendsetters, the Toi et Moi ‘La Première fois’ collection is a little bit french, a little bit street and a whole lot of amazing!

Mad Love & White Dreams

I was extremely lucky to be able to attend the photo shoot for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection for new label, Mad Love. The photo shoot was shot by the very talented Bec Lorrimer and features the gorgeous Anja Konstantinova, with an all white background and props. The collection itself is full of wonderful, crazy prints, and bright clashing colours in an assortment of maxi dresses, playsuits, tops and shorts. Inspired by the gypsy underworld of Central America, the collection uses prints designed by graphic artist Belinda Cairelli.
